SUPER STREET DIVISION ANNOUNCEMENT: |
White Mountain Motorsports Park would like to announce after about 6 months of thoughts as to how we could salvage the Super Street division and make it grow.
The year 2010 is fast approaching and with the constant declining car count, and a few regular Super Street drivers moving to different divisions, and the introduction of the #602 crate motor program that is in place with the Super Street and has been accepted into the ACT Tiger Sportsman division in Vermont. WMMP has come to the conclusion that we need to start over with a different rule package to replace our Super Street division. Replacing the Super Streets with the new division now known as White Mountain Super Sportsman Division will be using the same rules as the ACT Tiger Sportsman division.
WMMP management feels that this is the year to make this happen, because it has to be a complete package, not something that we could merge into over a couple of years. Because of the different rule packages we will be using there would be to many different issues over which we feel we could not control properly and fairly to the racers, teams and car owners. WMMP really would like to thank all the owner, drivers, and crews that have supported us over the years, and are in hopes you will give this new division a try as it seems that this class of race cars is one of the only one of its kind to be able to hold its own, and having a division with a lot of growth left to come.
We hope that the people that this concerns will look at it and your equipment and see that a lot of your parts and pieces could and will be able to be useful in this new division.
Sincerely,
Donnie & Teri Avery
